Chemo round 2 + Immunotherapy start. Jan 25 5pm updated

It snowed tonight, i have to be at the hospital at 8am.
Normally a 15 minute trip, we leave at 7:10am today, arrive at 7:55am.
Check in, get room assigned, nurse comes to prepare my brand new
"Port a Cath".
Today we start with an added medicine she casually says, ah ok, what is it?
"Tecentriq" she says, so i ask what it does and how is spelled?, already grabbing my phone to type in google search. First i find is

And i see "cancer immunotherapy-based combination" in the starting text,
Wait what? This is kind of big news no?
Ok ok Martin, calm down. Ugh.
Today i will get:
Done and ready to go home at 4pm.
To house we go, waiting for side effects now i guess.
Back for more tomorrow at 1pm.
Thursday, Jan 24
Awake at 5am, slept about 4 hours now, maybe i'll add a few later. I need coffee first according to my body. Only have to be at hospital at 1pm today, no rush.
Arm seems itchy, hmmm, that's new.
better look up side effects on the new Tecentriq, but coffee first.
Common side effects of Tecentriq include:

At hospital 1pm. I show my arms of course.
An allergic reaction they think, hmm, but i have never had that in 50 years, that would be weird to me. But tecentriq is new of course, they add an anti allergic thing to today's potion, and start the chemo.
Ready to go at 4pm.
Great.

Slept about 6h tonight, in shifts of course, but i'll take it.
Nothing special, arms look/feel the same.
We'll see at 1pm at the hospital i guess.
Back home at 4pm, nothing special.
Got my schedule updated.
Now wait for the new side effects ;)

- Etoposide

- urinary obstruction
- blood in the urine (hematuria)
- shortness of breath ✔️

- acute kidney injury
- venous thromboembolism
- severe infection (sepsis)
