Chemotherapy start

 Wednesday Jan 2.

 - Chemo happens in day hospital, no need to to stay overnight.
I need to be there at 1pm, we get there by 12:30, its like a first day at a new school after all.
Every chemo day they are going to take my actual weight that day, and a blood sample to test. ok.
i get assigned a room,  and need to wait a bit because they need to prepare the stuff according to my weight. Also, first day i will get 2 different products, so it will be a long day.
   I will get 1- Carboplatin  2- Etoposide
8pm i can go home.

Thursday Jan 3.

 - Today only Etoposide.
Blood-sample results come back showing too low Natrium/salt level, like first day i came to emergency. Will have to stay overnight, and weekend :(
I get assigned room 205. OK then. Wife drives home to get a bag of clothes and bathroom stuff. Need to remember and keep one ready in the car from now on.

In room 205 i meet my roommate for the next few days. Albert is well in his 80ies, but very much alive, cool. I seem to know his son Daniel, he worked at Unilin when i was trucking for Verbauwhede transports. Would be nice if he came for a visit to his dad, that was around the year 2000.

i get a bag of salt hooked up and that's it for today, ok, bring food please ;)

Friday Jan 4.

Nothing special, bag of Etoposide gets dripped in, and bags of salt get rotated
That will go on during the weekend....
